We have been a Co-teaching team since 2015. Together, we work as a team to provide an exciting learning experience for all of our students. Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment where our students can grow individually, academically, socially, and as leaders.
Mrs. ClarkinMrs. Clarkin has been teaching for over 20 years. This is her 19th year at Forest Brook. She has taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grade. This is her 6th year in the co-teaching program. She attended Dowling College where she received a B.A. in English Literature, a B.A. in Elementary Education, a M.A. in Literacy and a M. A. in Special Education. She is certified to teach pre-K, K-6 Elementary Education, K-12 Special Education, and K-12 Literacy. Mrs. Clarkin is married and has 2 boys, Brendan and Christian. She also has a rabbit named Coco. During her free time, Mrs. Clarkin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, gardening, cooking, and organizing.

Mrs. ClasseyMrs. Classey is a former Forest Brook Elementary student and a Hauppauge Graduate. She has been teaching for 10 years. This is her 5th year at Forest Brook. She has taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Mrs. Classey attended St. Joseph's College where she received a B.A. in Child Study, a B.A. in Speech and a M.A. in Literacy. She is certified to teach K-6 Childhood Education, K-6 Special Education, and K-6 Literacy. Mrs. Classey has a strong passion for education and has recently received an Advanced Certificate in Technology through Stony Brook University. During her free time Mrs. Classey enjoys spending time with her family and friends and spending time outdoors, biking, hiking, and fishing.
